Sounds like a good deal to me. You've got most of the supporting mods needed to get a bigger turbo already! Your car is just begging you to get rid of that T-too small =D

Holy Mother of God yes! All that same stuff you mentioned goes for NO less than 17,000 asking price around here. I've been looking for 97-99 GSX 5-speed silver/black/gray <80k miles for around 10,000 for 6 months now! Where'd you go to get your car?

That sounds like a great buy IMO! Be wary though--a car with that many mods if it is still on the stock 7 bolt motor may have been abused and could have leaking seals/gaskets etc.
I don't want to sound skeptical, but you should definitely have the car checked out by a mechanic up on a rack before buying. There is nothing more disappointing than buying a new used car and realizing that you need $1000 worth of work on the car done right away.
It seems like a great deal though; I would think a stock 98 gsx with 42k should sell for that much easily without any mods! Let us know what happens!

Then why are you paying $9500? And why are you driving a car!? That is not a very good mindset for someone who is trying to live for very long :eek7:
Salvage title will be a hassle on the car. If it currently HAS a salvage title, you will need to get it "rebuilt". If it is already rebuilt, your main concern will be re-selling it, but it is at least street legal.

lol i will take pics... when you have your own car shop and your dad works at one (making $100k plus) and you have the resources to fix anything wrong with it... why not... most people dont know that i can get a 2000 or newer e class mercedes for $3k wrecked and fixit for $2-5k and drive it... most people think when it is totaled it is totaled... not true MANY people that work in teh industry fix things... as this guy did and drive them...
