Have a problem with 4X4.
Goes in to both 4h and 4l no problem
When under load there is a clanging noise coming from the driverside. I just replaced both hubs to no aval. CV boots are not torn but havent inspected them yet. Also somebody told me about this thing having inner axles , can sombody explain this??

if you do alot of heavy wheelin you might want to carry a couple spare axles. i've broke 5 axles because i've been kinda rough on my trooper. i recomend not jumping too high or the impact will pull the cv's apart breaking the ball bearing cage on the cv. i've also shattered the axle shaft right at the hub from spinning in wet sand. these rigs are fun but you have to know thier limits. i'd say its in your cv if you have manual locking hubs. if you have automatic locking hubs then it might be in your hub itself. i had automatic hubs when i first started but destroyed them. i then bought some warn lmanual hubs.

I get this grinding noise from the front drivers sied hub when I decelerate. The wheel still pulls and all, just when I let the gas off it starts to make the grinding noise... Any Ideas What my Sound is from? Its got the auto locking hubs on it (std equipment I think, I have to back up to take the 4X4 out of engagement)
