help me please

the problem is a 92 grand am with a 3300. it would run fine for about 10 minutes and die and not start again for about 10 minutes. we changed the harmonic balancer the rubber was bad in it. new fuel pump, new tank, new relays,new control module and new crank sensor. it isn`t getting fire now.... someone please help.. Have you had the car put on a scanner since you changed the ECM? It sounds like there may be an open circuit somewhere in the system. Also check the coil pack to insure that it is good. Sometimes these go bad and don't give you any notice.

If your not getting spark like you mentioned, you need to check the fuel injection pulses with a noid light. If you get a pulse but no spark, there is something wrong with the ignition module. If you don't have a pulse with no spark, your crankshaft sensor is still not working for some reason. Check the wiring to it. When the crankshaft sensor is working, it will tell the computer (ecm) to fire the ignition module and create a voltage for the coils to fire.

the new control module that i got from advance auto wasn`t any good . i put a module and coil pack from something else on and it fired right up. damn parts stores.
