It was snowing pretty tough around my parts a couple days ago and im a pizza delivery man so of course, everyone and their left nut wants food delivered.
So as im off to one of my deliveries down a huge ass hill of course, i skid right past the house and nearly into the back of a parked lincoln towncar, thank god for the ebrake which luckily swung the rear end out and swerved enough sideways to miss it. After that i had to traverse the rest of this mountain which has a slight right hand bend near the bottom, as i travel at around 2-3mph down the hill, i come to the bend where it all locks up, i skid across the double yellow inches from a 96ish land cruiser(that wouldve hurt), i yank the e as fast as i could, threw the back end out again in front of a 94ish legend, good thing he didnt skid, as i stopped right in front of him.
So the moral of the story is, KUMHO Ecsta 712's SUCK ASS in the Snow, even 1/4" of it like my area had.

Me thinks come one failed geography. :D
801 if you get a job, and work hard enough you'll able to pay someone to fix that CV boot in only a week or two!
So do you guys have two sets if tyres that you swap over between summer and winter? or do you buy a set of all season tyres and hope they work ok in the snow? (which is what I assume you did crxlvr, or am I wrong?)

I can only talk for myself by saying that I have 2 sets of tires that I change every spring and fall.
