Im getting an 90 rx-7 non-turbo, what could i do to the car even though it is N/A to make it pretty quick? What are some good things i could do to this car eventually to make it really quick? just wondering.

what do you mean by real quick ?
theres porting, turbo engine swaps, Nos, carb or efi tuning..
u can mix those option for even better results...

to be more precise, i meant what could i do to the rx-7 without spending too much money, like a $1000 to make it a little bit quicker, when i have more money like $5000 then what could i do..

for 1G you could get an intake and good exhaust system that would free up plenty of power. check out www.racingbeat.com www.mazdatrix.com and other rx-7 forums. do some research to see what you want to spend your money on

For 1000 dollars I'd say save it until you have that 5000 dollars and then do a turbo engine swap. Otherwise for 1000 dollars I'd say get a nice exhaust like racing beat.

i'd take the 1000 and put it on the suspension, then wait for the 5000 and do a turbo swap
if hes buying an exhaust line, he'll have to change it once he go turbo (if its in his plan)

i heard the turbo swaps for a 90' FC would be hard because the turbo engine is getting hard to find and really expensive, but im not sure, that's just what one website said..

I'm doing a swap here soon, the engines can be bought straight from mazda, the tranny and rear end are the harder things, but you could do like I am and buy a full TII and swap it all into the non-turbo shell, saves on insurance big time.
or you could do exhaust now, then save up, rebuild, street port, and supercharge it.. just depends what you want

they go for 500-700$ cnd arround here, 13b-re (wich is another great option, it has bigger intake ports than FDs engine, but smaller twins and smaller exhaust ports) they go for 1000$ us roughly
i also saw a 20b go for 2000$ cnd

kevin landers at rotary ressurection does the TII swap for 1200, and if you let him keep the non-turbo engine and drivetrain its 800

yea kevin has a good reputation and a lot of people back up his work, plus you can't beat the price... I had some rotary shop here in kansas quote me 3k for the swap, which is insanely expensive...
