the past couple days i have been talkin to alot of 3g owners that own intakes and alot of them are sayin there intake doesnt really do anything, like it doesnt even make the car sould good at high rpms. and i started to realize that mine doesnt do much either. why is that?

I have an Injen CAI and it makes alot of difference in my car. At high rpms, and even just gassing it, you can tell that its louder and I have a little more throttle response. Have someone drive your car and tell them to gas it. As the car goes farther away you'll be able to hear the intake working.
If you dont think it does anything to your car, you should just take it out if you dont like it.

The one surefire way to tell if it is working is to put your car on the dyno. Do not trust the butt dyno of someone 1500 miles away, they may have been sitting too long.

lol...true true..but maybe i should of tested my car before I put the cai on..foolish me, so i guess ill never know unless i take it off and put it on. Now I only have to find my original filter parts that i put somewhere in a box.

No because I held a dyno day and recorded all eclipse dyno numbers over stock. The Injen and AEM CAI gaive power over the entire RPM band.
