----- I Decided I'd buy a newer, better car. I left the questions that remain valid -----
2. I am painting my car, I want a customed graphics job, Neon grean with black stripes and custome job as follows: A black rear end that thins down into a tendril that comes up and looks as if it punched into the car, then back out, and does so continuing down the car. Of course it does so on both sides. At the point of the tendril will be my NOS decal, and on the ground effects it will read "Drive it like you stole it"
Please give me a price estimate on this graphics job.
3. Holly Airmass Thundermuff. How much would it cost? Is it a good investment? I want performance and SOUND.
4. Headers. What do they do? Do they help much? Are Hooker Headers Adjustible Racing Headers worth the 750 bucks? If I buy Headers, should I buy these, or can you suggest something cheaper to give me performance?
5. As I said, I want to turbo my car, can i stick with the original NOS Cheater system I planned on, or do I need one of the "Turbo NOS Systems" they sell?
7. Do the 15" Dancing Neons work well? They say they have a built in audio sensor, and I was planning on one for my back window, but how do they perform?
9. I want rims I saw on this one car that looked like three comets chasing each other. I only saw them on this one car, and nowhere else, where can I get them?
10. I want buckets to match my paint job, Green and black. I want them to be that smooth material that are in "Race Style" car seats. What is that called? Where can I find car seats like this?
11. As you can see I am spending alot on this car, and I need to save money. How do sponserships work? Can I get a sponsorship and get parts cheaper? Whats the deal there?
Thanks for answering my questions everyone, I hope to get my project done by the end of the year, and this will be a great help in completing it.

Look thats alot of questions, but your in luck.
1.paint-go to a body shop and explain what you want, they will you give you a ruff estimate
2.i've heard nothing but good things about the thunder muff.
3.headers-good investment if your going for serious horespower, get good ones once or get shity ones again and again.
4.Rims-if you can remember what those rims looked like, go to a wheel shop and look through all there cataloges and then order them.
5.Seats- do you want the whole seat or just the material to recover the stock seats ? i think its tweed but i could be wrong. if you want race seats get super street magazine and order them out of there they have good deals, you can the mag at any mag store or drug store.
6.gearing-what are doing with the car, first off. are you racing are you driving it to work? if your driving it all the time don't re-gear just get a shift kit, this just makes everything more crisp and it will peform so much better than stock.
Well i hope that helped a bit. if you have more questions regarding paint i'm a licenced body-man so thats more my department. e-mail me [email protected]

Wow, thanks! As I said I'm going for a better car, but I don't know what to go for! I have a Chevy Cav. z24 Coupe Red '89, and whatever I sell that for is what I can afford to pay. The most I'd think I could sell it for is 2000. Any suggestions? I was looking at an add for a Dodge Avenger ES for 1700 that said "Transmission needs Refilled" My guess is they ment rebuilt, but I emailed the guy to ask. It seems like a great deal if the car is in good shape. I was also looking at a 93 Eagle Talon that is priced at 1200. It seems like it's underpriced, so I'm skeptical. Maybe I'll look into it. Other cars I am considering are:
91 Mishi Eclipse: $2000 (Seems underpriced, skeptical)
87 Pontiac Firebird Formula: $1300 (Hoodscoop, Spoiler.. Underpriced again?)
89 Toyota Supra: $2000 (I don't really like the looks of old supras)
87 Chevy Camero: $1600 (I'll be looking into this)
84 Chevy Camero: $1350 (Hmmm.... Seems to good to be true)
91 Mercury Capri: $1999 (I dunno, It's a convertible)
My friend's friend is selling his steath, but he said it "Runs on three cylinders" What the hell does that mean? Is that possible??
Thanks

hey hows it goin'? thats a lot of different cars, i think the best deal there would have to be mishi eclipse or toyota supra. depending on the body and drive train. if the body is ruff it would be a good deal, but if the body is in good shape there's somthin' wrong somewhere. when you go to look at a car make sure you here it run and look at the steering wheel while its idleing if its a V6 the wheel shouldn't vibrate at all, if it does just shut the car off and walk away. a four banger will vibrate a tiny bit but not much. your buddy with the stealth that runs on three cylinders, yes thats possible it just means the motor's fucked. don't get into that. it will cost you. again if you have more questions just ask.
p.s stay away from old camaros(80's) there nothin' but trouble

Steering Wheel Vibration huh? What does that indicate? Also, for selling my car, I want to get the maximum price out of it, how's ebay as an option? Can I set my reserve up at 4000 so I don't get trapped w/ a bad deal, set buy it now, and wait? Will it sell? How long is it up for?

Steering Wheel Vibration could be caused by wheel alignment or a wheel out of balance. If it vibrates or shakes when you brack it is the rotors.. They are warpped. SO all you have to do it get them machined.
Selling your car on Ebay. Well you could try but I bet you would sell it better through your local buy and sell paper.
Hope that helps.
Have a good one

I unluckly currently own a 84 camaro and its garbage, I suggest staying away from that year of camaro. Speaking of camaro's, I currently also own a 76 camaro LT and I was wondering if you could give me an estimate on how much it would cost just for the paint to paint the camaro dark metallic Blue with chameleon flames.
