Well ive had the car for about a year and have finally started fixin it up. Yesterday finally got new tires, got the a/c working again, and today have got the cruise contropl put in. Now i was wondering how to disable the dummy light that tells you the door is open, and to make it where the luights dont come on when you open the door. Is there a fuse i can remove?

Why? If you want to do it temporarily so your battery does not die when the door is open remove the neg terminal on the battery.
Otherwise the only way i can think of is to cut the negitive wire that comes from the door pin. You can find where the wire is and the color on a wiring diagram

The reason that i want to do that is because when i go to competitions, i leave the doors and hatch open...with the stereo and neons runniung, the factory lights on looks bad. thats hwy i was lookin for a fuse to take out.

Ahh. Well that make sense. I don't think there is a fuse.. you can change the interior light to your neon color :)
Or if you want them off I would find the negative door pin wire and hook a switch upto it.. or if you want it off forever just cut it.

there is a fuse under the hood... its connected to a yellow clip, the radio fuse and it are separate fuses but the are in a clip together... just take it out and the interior lights wont work anymore!
