gas milage: LS1 vs. LS6

I know this should be asked in the Corvette Forum but there are way more people here, so what is the difference?

glad to see you dont think power and economy are countering forces. for instance look at the LS6 engine, it makes 50 more hp, and gets 5mpg better.
