HA! I was looking for that link. I wanted to type it out so I could print it to refer to while I build, as I've been finding a lot of paintcodes on my 787B aren't listed.

Tamiya changed some of their paint coding system a couple of years ago, there used to be a range of paints which had an 'MS' designation which are now replaced by the 'TS' range.
Is these the paint codes you're referring to?

Quick question: Out of all the TS' which black has the most gloss?

Freakray - no, there are painting callouts during construction that aren't listed in the paint list on the first page. This is a problem I run into rather often in Tamiya kits, especially older ones. I got rather annoyed having to look up the paint codes every time, so I wanted to compile a list to print. I figured I would post it here, in case anyone else wanted a printed copy to refer to. 'Cause, yeah, sometimes I do turn off my computer....

If there are some you're not certain of, perhaps you could post the paint codes here and we can try to help you?

I found them now. They're in my big master list. For example, for the gearbox, the instructions call out "XF-10:3+X-10:2" The instructions note X-10 (gunmetal), but I had to look up XF-10 (flat brown). That's why I had to make the list, so I could have all the codes handy. I thought others would find it usefull....
