bubbling pin stripping

i ordered pin stripping on my new car when i bought it in 2001. for whatever reason, the black pin stripping on the driver's door has a lot of little air bubbles in it now. what can be done about this short of replacing it? if it has to be replaced, how would they remove the old stripping? would they scratch the paint or buff it?

to remove a pin stripe the most likely will use a little heat to loosen the glue up and then jus slowly peal of the stripe, its a short process and if done correcly not even glue will remain on the car

or just use the heat gun slighty on the bubly stripe to make the bubble go down , like tinted windows.
