won't start when warm

Hello I have a 1990 olds cutlass calais, just bought it replaced plugs and wires, it will start up when it is cold but not when it is warm does anyone know what the problem is.thanks

do anything turn? do u hear any starting noises? give me more info...

it sounds like it wants to start but doesn't sometimes it will give a little poof like a small backfire
