it says that the viper sprayed, so if he didn't use nitrous i beleive the vette might have came out victorious. that was one of the best vids i've seen yet

I think he sprayed right b4 he passed the vette.

Makes sense, the Vette had the Viper for the most part... but then all of a sudden you hear the Viper come right back and shift into what sounds like 5th gear.

Either way, both cars I wouldn't want to meet up with on the open highway... unless I had a JATO rocket bolted to my Z... :biggrin:

I saw that vid. That supercharged Z06 also ran Griffin (KB blower 03 Cobra). I forgot who won, but I believe their race was very close (Now that I think of it I think that Z06 won). The Z06 owner also has nitrous as I recall. One thing about being honest in street racing is that it backfires (People telling you not to juice it). That Z06 is sick, and as I recall you can see an 03 Cobra ahead in the distance if you watch the vid towards the end of the run.

It's a newer mustang, 97+ I'm guessing because it has vertical tail lights... But by the time it caught up, both the viper and the vette were slowing down, heh..

EDIT: I just read page 1, guess it's an 03 cobra... :)
