Okay so i'm replacing the seats and carpet in my 240sx. I have a budget of 400$, not including labor(i'm getting labor for 200$). I Dont know much about seats or carpet. Can you guys help me with some suggestions? i'm loooking for both front and back seats, and generic carpeting. Whats the best seats i can get and how much would it be? As for carpet, any generic carpeting work or do i need pre-fabricated carpeting? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

id say look for some clean s13 back seats, and get some s14 front seats (roughly $150-200). s14 seats are a popular upgrade because they are very comfortable, good looking, bolt right in and are a godo choice (and price) for an upgrade. you will LOVE those seats.
i'd look for carpeting out of another 240 that's clean, im sure you can find it for around $100.

how is the market for the s14 leather seats? i'm in San Jose Cali, and i'm assuming there isn't much of a market for them here.
Also is it possible to get new s14 seats and carpet or is the only option used?

I'd say get OEM seats to, S14 sound good, cause with 400$ you'll never get SParcos or Brides, expescially if you wanna get new back seats and carpeting.

I have an s14 and the seats look nice but they don't hold you in as well as the s13 seats. Maybe it's the leather but I'm looking to upgrade to racing seats soon.

s14 definately holds you in better, so yes, its the leather :)
leather's nice but you slide around a lot. you can find them, just have to look around. may take some work.

No joke, I'm on the market for S14 leather seats. Leathering the S13's at a shop costs like 900 bucks, I'm not about to pay that much.
