one more o2 sensor question

this is the second time this one (bank 1 sensor 3, post cat-pre muffler) has had problems. My 97 chevy blazer has a little over 60k on it. Do you think maybe its the Cat slowly putting out a dirtier stream, messing with the sensor and telling the computor that its malfunctioning?

Your cat could be plugged due to previous richness, have a local shop check to see if it's clogged...
