It's been awhile since I've posted....switched jobs and crap.
Should I trade my car in for this...
1997 red 240sx
~100k miles
shaved 240sx and Nissan badges on everything other than the hood
silvia badging on the rear (pretty gross right?)
huge exhaust (4" at least)
cone filter (no polished intake or cai though... :-/)
price: $6,495
Car seems to be pretty clean and in good shape...maybe raced a little, but nothing major...I hope.
And it should still be reliable for quite a few miles more if it was taken care of right?

Hey man, how's the SE-R? It's still under warranty isn't it? Or did you lease it? I forget... but if a 240 really interests you, at least take it for a test drive! That's a pretty good price for an S14... 97' at that!
KA should last you a long time if the guy did all the routine maintenance. Better check everything else out on the car... maybe a carfax or dmv report. 4" piping? Damn dude...

Yeah it's still under warranty...it's at 44k miles now and the warranty runs out at 60k. The reason I want to get rid of it now is the mileage is adding on fast and it's dropping the resale value more and more each day. It's getting expensive to deal with the payments and contemplate school next year...With the 97 240 I'll pay like half as much each month...
I worded it wrong...not piping...just the exhaust..I didn't check out the brand, but it sounded alright...It will probly be sold on here or something since it's probly too big for the moment (until my ultimate plan of a ka-t :))
The Spec v is really quick though...and a lot of fun to kill other cars with, but I need rwd and the better styling of the 240. Killed a 325i the other day...he was really surprised ;).

^what he said..
If your not gonna flog it around may aswell stick with a more comfortable and bigger car. Fitting chicks in 240's is hard as shit, so paranoid about ripping there skirts and creasing their pants. Plus theres no fuck-room, fuckleg room, if theres no fuck-room then that sucks

Id do it too(insert beavis laugh here)
especially with no cat, no muffler, no resonator, no cheesy tip, and an external wastegate...
but thats just me too.

I'd go with the 240 97, seems that's what you seem to like more, and not to mention half the cost of your sentra spec-v. Koukis r so nice and aggressive also, that's a good price for one

If it's really in good shape, go for it! Definitely will cut your costs, but you will have to live without the luxuries the SE-R has to offer... for a while :) It's a 97' man, nuff said. And I swear, almost every week someone posts about wrecking their car, so if you want a 240, now's your chance.
