I am trying to install an alarm on my 2003 GT. Under the steering colum there are two wires coming from the ignition (white with blue strip and orange). We narrowed them down to the ignition and starter wires but do not know which is which. Can anyone help me out, I do not want to cut the wrong one and then have to splice it back together. Thanks!

WOW, and you feel sure enough to go ahead and screw with your car? You know if you have any electrical problems your dealer probably won't honor the warranty if there is any left. They can spot an amature install easily. Anyway, those wires are so easy to figure out. Just take a meter to them and test. The ignition wire should be hot the whole time the key is on and the starter wire should be hot only when cranking. Black/white should be the starter wire and Black/orange should be the ignition. Goto www.bulldogsecurity.com to look up your car's info.. Remember to pay attention to the hookup of the door triggers to avoid domelight delay triggering the alarm after you close a door.

Thanks! I didn't think about the warranty. Maybe I should consider other options. Either way, Thanks for the info!
