brake lights on!

the brake lights on my 1985 honda accord are stuck on. i need to know if it is a pressure switch or a mechanical switch.

It's just a simple switch at the top of the pedal, if you look up there you should be able to see it. They should be able to adjust so that it will go off (or it's stuck), and in either case I don't think it would be hard to fix.
