Ok here we go it's a 91 952 (not a 951 , but there is no forum for 952s) turbo cabriolet (only 525 made , and 211 present for 2001 , as for 2002 i'll have to check). Originally the color was grey but now i changed it to be more flashy , and also the old paint wasn't in very good condition... About mods... too many to list , but it has a lot of Hp for a OHV 4-cylinder , trust me...:D

Damn that's a pretty car Tom! Now, when you said "211 present for 2001," do you mean that there are only 211 examples of that car left on the planet / that haven't been wrecked or destroyed? Anyway, beautiful car, you should be proud to own it. I like it a lot!

By the way, when I was in South Carolina last year, I spotted a 944 cabriolet with a "turbotan" liscence plate, and I checked out the badging, and sure enough, it was a 944 turbo convertible! I wonder how it imported into the states.

211 registered so that means they aren't damaged , because they had to pass everything that is needed to register a car... , and how did he get in the states? Probably trough a dealer , because half of the production went to USA and half "Stayed" in Europe , mostly in germany... In 1991 it costed 102.000 DM (i may be wrong , but i'm 100% sure it was over 100.000 DM)
