In Progress: 180SX Partly Damaged :<

Well, Heres my 1st japan style model. I messed the roof up prety badly. I left it by a lamp, which melted the top.. :banghead: Im really pissed, but thats okay, im having fun building this kit..

I;ll forshore buy this kit again and redo it...

Mabe if i finish it, it will look like a dent in the roof, and not melted looking? :uhoh:

anyways back on subject. Dont worry man. Mine was a lot worse..so melted couldnt do anything about it. Looks good so far. I think you should put some putty one top and reshape it. but hey its up to you.. good luck man

wel my car went on its side while drifting and hit a bar while moving on its side i repainted it and left the dent alone lol

Ill probally make it a Drifter Style Street Leagal type 180.

Everywhere I see people w/Photobucket, I see many Red X's. Don't think I'd trust my pictures with them, it's a very common problem w/them.

hehehe.. me too.. but i can imagine ur sadness.. i had once kind of the same experience.. but my model didnt melt.. it become stiff and cracked coz i dipped in the wrong fluid to strip of the paint.. can u imagine in DOT 4 brake fluid.. hahahha.. anyways.. i got thru it with some putty and epoxy and much much sanding and a paint job :) keep up ur good work...

Dam that sux, i had a similar problem with my teggy...the roof crack on one side but i puttied it then the putty cracked so i left it lol..

Drift mishap diorama? :dunno: Display it on its roof off the side of a cliff w/ fluids leaking? Kinda morbid, but if done well, it could be cool...

Well..I have seen your modifiers, and your putty skills are amazing..Im sure its within your grasp to just cut part of the roof off, add a peice of styrene in, and putty the shape and scribe a new line. But im sure you will do well with whatever you do with this car :sunglasse

Thanks for all your imput on the 180, I have been waiting to see what feed back i got from it before i started to fix it. so ill probally spend some money and fix the roof. I'll probally make an all round bodykit for it. I haven't done any bodywork in this scale, so this is a chance to get at it, and show you what i got.

The paint is Duplicolor Night Hawk Black pearl. Pretty bad ass color in the sun, looks like an extremly dark blue. To bad my cam can't cature the true art.

wont use it as a parts car??? well that happened to my r32... just so happened that my buddy had a crap r32 and gave it to me... i replaced the entire roof.....still not finished..... its was gonna be tite tho..... sorry

100% sure it dosen't, Ive used this stuff before.

i liek the color theme going on there...and the roof looks like its an easyish fix..

also are those 3 spokes the wheels that came with that kit?...thanks

Got some bad, news and some good news

1st the bad,

I was in my garage cleaning my car, and just so happen to step on the 180. :(

Good News is

I got a new Cam! 3.2 meagpixles! Very good camera.

As far is this 180, this isnt the last of it, I have a back up kit in my closet some where.
