I don't know about the EF-gen Civic, but I think you can get a CRX of the same generation(2nd gen CRX) as light as 1970lbs. That's how much the CRX HF model is. It goes up from there.

Well the EF CRX is just an EF Civic chassis with some diffent, lighter body work on it. Its always going to be lighter and faster, model for model.
Same with the 1st gen CRX, 3g Civic.
The only exception is the EG Civic, CRX/Del Sol. For some reason (mostly the Targa top) the CRX/Del Sol is quite a bit heavier and therefore slower.
