Ok, this is for those of you who drive your rora's in the winter thru the snow. Snow can get pretty wicked here, and with my 25mile commute to work, I need something that can handle it, My cutlass couldn't. So, how do your rora's handle in the heavy winter snowfalls?

terrific, they weigh so much up front...and with the traction control and winter tires its pretty confident on the snow packed roads..

My aurora did great this past winter, while other cars were getting stuck in the ice and snow, I was passing right by them.

What with the FWD, traction control, Precision control system, and 55
series Michelins, my 2001 4.0 handles snow & ice easily.

Other the a little unfortunate accident with a light pole in a long hilly driveway that focked up my front fender, the car performed great in the snow.
I hated my old Michelin 60 series, so I am getting legit winter fronts next November.

I live in Iowa where we get our fair share of crappy roads. The only time I've gone in the ditch is when I was driving a borrow 4WD explorer.
My traction control doesn't even work and I still have no troubles whatsoever.

on Christmas eve 2002 I was driving to my families house 250 miles away and it was snowing the worst ive ever seen...it took me a long time going about 40 mph in at least 6 inches on snow/slush on the road...I seen more than 10 cars go off the road not counting the ones that were already off the road!!! I made it all the way without going off the road and this is with my traction control not working!! so its safe to say it very very good in all weather...i need to get my traction fixed still but it seems not even to need it!!

My Aurora's ok in the snow, but you better have plenty of tread on those wide front tires or you will get stuck!!!!!

cool, last winter my cutlass almost killed me, i hafta drive right thru the snowbelt. in december i traded the cutty in for a 4x4 blazer, which did ok, except for the time i slid down a steep curvy snow and ice covered hill into a guardrail. unfortunately this hill is unavoidable, i hafta conquer it everyday to and from work. anyway, when the snow was gone i traded the truck in for my rora cuz i just can't drive a truck, it's just not me. hopefully my rora can handle this hill tho, it's pretty wicked. thx for all the replys, they were very helpful.
