Question????

This weekend my baby wouldnt start. i checked everything, when i went to check if there was any gas pressure and there wasnt. so having nuttin to do i dropped the gas tank and checked the pump. the pump runs fine when i connect it straight to the battery. but if i connect it to the plug it goes into it wont run. what could be wrong??? i checked the cable from the pump to the main relay and its not dammaged. u guys think it might be the main relay??? or what else could it be?? your help is greatly appreciated!!!

I would check/change the main relay first.

i took the main relay off and i checked it like it said in that "haynes" book. and it doesnt seem to respond. so im guessing its that. do u know how to check them???
