lost horse power

We fixed the problem with the electric choke its was the wires for the spark plugs. But know we have another problem after we fixed the wired we lost horse power and we have problems with the engine back firing isn't that wierd. I hate cars.

No clue what year your working on. Timing got moved maybe?? Also I know this sounds stupid but check the firing order and the wire order again to make sure you didn't get in a hurry and mix two of them up.
