what can i all take out to loose all the wight in my car? i have taken out the heaater system and seats and everything out of the trunk and rear seat. i want to loose all the wight in the car i can..

everything but the drivers seat, steering wheel and a tach. take out the carpet, headliner, sound deadening material, engine, etc... :icon16:

on a more serious note.. relocating the battery to the rear is always a nice idea.. doesnt drop weight, but distributes it more evenly.. if you really want to go hardcore..pull up all the carpeting and get out the heat gun and scraper and lose all of that tar...

Yep, lose the tar. Get rid of your radio and all the wiring for it too (wires wiegh a lot). Get a lighter hood. Light rims will really help also.

take out the glove compartment and all the loose interior parts you dont need. Just take out everything that isn't necessary to have the car function (except for seat belts, cops will get you if you take those out). Hmmm, can you take out the air conditioner? Lose some metal piping you don't need maybe. If you're going to race, race with only a few gallons of gas, that should save you a few pounds.
