random license plates

ok, this is weird. I was looking at collegehumor and saw this...ok, no big deal (the license plate). http://www.collegehumor.com/?image_id=56054

no fun! the firwall here at work blocked the first picture, so this thread makes no sense!

they look like they are different states though? first one jersey second one.. i dunno looks kinda like new york but new york doesn't put the inspection sticker on the plate.

edit: maybe the first or second is an old set and the person moved?
