Ok im pretty sure i need a new tranny but i decided i should post here just to see what u guys could come up with
ok so i was driving around cuz i just got an engine put in my car
and it doesnt wanna shift into 2nd if i have gas on it, i have to let off the gas
the idle drops than it shifts, and u can feel it shift
and than in second its like 2nd gear is gone, i can accelerate slowly but if i mash it it takes a few second and than it revs high but not much accel
it also hesitates badly in any gear
over drive seems to have no effect at all on anything
but yea
im thinking i need a new tranny
i was thinking maybe the fluid or something
but thats a slim chance right?
what u guys think?

Ebay trannies and motors suck ass.
My mom's car used to do that, I checked the fluid and it was bone dry, I filled it up and like 3 months later it was bone dry again, but now it's been like 8 months and it's still fine.
Just make sure the car is warmed up when you check the fluid.

ya u should always check the tranny fluid first. if its low or high or if it is discolored. that has a big effect. If it is then get it flushed. But if its not that then a new tranny would probably be less expensive.
Good luck!
