Definitly go with the power door lock kit. Have you read my post? Autoloc A+ ? I just installed that same system and it was a snap. All the wires have connectors on them. The wires have good length. has lock/unlock inputs for aftermarket alarm/keyless systems. And the actuators are strong. My door locks are kinda stiff and it pushes them.
As for the alarm. Cheap + Alarm = garbage. You will definitly want to go with a brand that has a good reputation and warranty. And an alarm that will keep people out. I would recomend DEI products. You can find new units on ebay for a reasonable price. Let me know if you need advice on an alarm

Yeah the locks look ok but the alarm is a waste. I would try to find something from DEI. www.directed.com

What's a good brand to look for? I was looking at Clifford cuz I have heard good things about those. Also, does any security system/keyless entry system work with the above mentioned power lock system.
TIA

Yes, those will work with any alarm. Clifford is a real nice alarm to pick from. Their sister stuff like Viper, Python, Sidewinder and the rest are just as good.
