Which car should I get

There are two cars for the same price ($7,500)
One is a Mitsubishi Lancer 02' with a carbon fiber hood and
carbon fiber wing.
Or a Mitsubishi Galant 99' with a body kit, a spoiler, new HKS air intake system, exhaust tuning.
Of course the Galant sounds better, but which one will go faster and look better with mods?

The Galant is a dressy entry-level luxury sedan.
The Lancer is a bargain basement economy sedan.
NEITHER IS A PERFORMANCE CAR.
Don't bother spending your money on either of those cars. $7,500 can get you a lot more car than that.
In fact, if I had $7,500, I'd go out and buy a mid to late 70's Corvette with the L82 Chevy small block and the four speed transmission and start going through the Jeg's catalog. Guaran-damn-tee you that I could have a 350hp for $7,500 for less work than dragging 175hp out of that Lancer.

Are you going for performance or looks? If its performance then I would say get either, your gonna have to spend a lot to make it a "fast" car, but looks is based on your taste.

That Galant is craptastic. Gaudy body kit that doesn't fit right, tiny stock wheels, huge muffler that sticks out a foot and doesn't fit the car. Spray some crappy blue paint on it and you'll have my friends old Galant :thumbsdow
The Lancer isn't very cool either. The foglights look dumb, so do the eyebrows and carbon grill. The hood is alright, I'm afraid to see what the spoiler looks like though.
Both are slow and aren't gonna be fast without spending TONS of money on them.
If I had to choose, I would get the Lancer, as it has less suckage than the Galant :dunno:

Hmm, the wing on the Lancer isn't as bad as I imagined. I'd still get it between the 2, just cuz the Galant is too big heavy and ugly with that body kit. When will people learn that you look like a goofball when you spend money on bodykits and wings and hoods and stuff and you're still rolling around on the steel wheels + hubcaps?

yeah, i will definitely change those ugly things, i would put Yokohama tires on it, and O-Z F1 17.5 wheels on it.

Never said it'd be good looking. Probably a few stress cracks and the paint'll be faded and cracked, and I'm talking more along the lines of a '77 to '82 Vette. They're a dime a dozen around here and as limp-wristed as they were from the factory it's still the same chassis Dickie Greenwood used to put a hurting on the Porsches and BMW's at Sebring in 1976. Plus, like I said, start with a 4 bolt main 350 (which I believe the L82 was) and the Jegs catalog, flip through names like Lunati, Edelbrock, Comp, and Moroso, and you can breath new life into that tired old soldier.
And believe me, a worn later model C3 Vette that's been freshened up is WAY better than some dressed up econobox or uglified sedan.
