okay i've gotten alot of info about this but i was wondering what you guys think in regards to me turboing my 95 eclipse gs? the 420a i've see had kits out their but i got a turbo sitting in my office and i was wondering how hard this job really is? i know i just cant slap the thing to my manifold and start the car and drive but i was wondering is the only real bitch of a job on installing a turbo is the ic tubes? other than that all i can reall think, the job doesn't seem to be that difficult. i have overhauled engines alot and i am very mechanically inclined but correct me if i'm wrong:

My idea on how to turbo my car running around 4 pounds of boost. ( it seems small but until i redo all the internals )

- connect the turbo to the manifold
- connect the down pipe
- install the oil lines
- bend all the piping req for the intercooler
- attach the bov a foot from the throttle body
- attach the bov line to the vaccuum line above the throttle body
- install the air/fuel ratio guage and boost guage
- and that seems to be all i can think of

i really think it is pointless to install different fuel injectors seeing that all im going to run is 4 pounds???

well guys let me know if i'm out to lunch on this project? i know people always tell me to sell my car and get a turbo model but i want to turbo my car regardless.

let me know if i'm missing anything???

thanks

yeah i'm just curious though, with pushing 4 pounds i will not have to re do my injectors right? i read the thread i was just asking if what i wrote is as basic as the install gets?

no u shouldnt need to replace your injectors

okay just before i do this all, do i have to replace anything else except the obvious? ( manifold, down pipe, intake, new piping and add an intercooler?) i'm going to start this tomarrow probably, but i just wanna cover all my bases?

the other thing is i don't recall reading this on the thread that was posted strictly for turboing the 420a, was where to feed the oil lines? i know i need a return line into my oil pan but where do i access the feed into the turbo from? in other words where can i get the oil feed into my turbo?

thanks

Its in there...There is a bolt on one of the sides of the block that is not holding anything and if you unbolt it you can put the plug there for the feed line.
