Yet another "is this a good buy?" thread

well I am about to buy a 1995 SL with 98K miles for $5900, I did a carfax report and it says that it is not an sl and it does not say SL on the rear. It does have leather, sun-roof, CD-changer, 17" chrome rims, 6 speaker infinity sound system, so is there any chance it is not an SL and would it make a difference if it was base (Horse power wise), ohh yea and is it a good buy?

'95 SL with 98K miles for $5900, that's a pretty good buy. Especially since it has a sunroof and all (power sunroof, right?). So yeah, I'd say go for it....especially since you ran a CarFax report on it and everything. Good luck... :)

sweet, I am gonna go for it, only problem is finding a time when i can get off work to go to the dudes bank (apparently the bank owns the title), then theres the problem of getting plates... stupid RMV only open when i am working.

Here in Massachusetts it's called the registry of motor vehicles, must be because we are a commonwhealth and not a real state :iceslolan . I will have pics soon, forgot my camera when I checked it out. Ohh and it's Dark green my favorite color! Ohh and the dude selling it to me is giving me some aftermarket side skirts, if I end up liking them how much would it cost to paint them the same color as my new car?

lol.... the person selling it probably bought the base trim and then added the accessories (sunroof, leather, Cd player, etc.) to make it SL... there is no horsepower difference.. Unless you take into account the weight of the CD player haha!

I guess that could be it but I honestly don't care if it says SL on it as long as it has everything an SL does. I have the car now and all I need are plates and such, I gave it a wash today when I got home from work and took some pics. Here is one that I like
