1994 LHS Trans issue

Just bought a 1994 LHS for 500 bucks. Pretty sure that there were going to be issues with it. When I bought it it had a broken Trans mount which I replaced. When I went to road test it, it seemed like the transmission was fighting itself to move the car. Along with the bucking and stalling when I put it into Drive, it also displayed the traction control light intermittently. It was almost like a brake was sticking or something. But while rolling, I put it into Neutral and it coasted so i know the brakes arent the issue. Then i turned off the traction control and it quit bucking. It wouldnt shift with the traction control on or off. I have noticed (after I bought this thing of course!) that there seems to be a trend of transmission failure with these cars. If anyone has some insight or experience with these symptoms I would appreciate any help. I am leaning toward an electrical issue since mechanical problems dont usually go away and come back. Usually a part breaks and stays broke but who knows!
Thanks

It's the traction control. I have a complete write up of it in my books, i'll have to type it is later but basically you found it. Understand that the traction control applies the breaks to the wheel that is slipping to even out the traction to the front wheels. when the section goes bad, it acts as you described. Your using the emergency bypass method, they normally don't have a cure, just the method you described to get it to a garage to have it repaired. No simple cure, it needs to be changed under most cases. More to follow later when I get a chance if you want the info, it will be out of the Haynes book by the way. I'd suggest getting a copy .
