i need to know if i can replace the pistons on my stock rods with new one without have them pressed in if there is a easy way to do with out consulting a shop.

ya go to kragens they have a tool...it allows you to tighten up the rings on the piston to slide it right in the block and you be set to go...but if do take out old pistons must buy new rings no matter what....so this should solve your question

What are you talking about?

You should have a mackine shop do it they will heat up the old pistions to get the wrist pin out and dry ice the new one to get it back in. let them do it this is one part you dont want to fock up.

my bad mis read it...on my behalf i am right just didnt see he was asking about taking wrist pins out the old rod and using them on his new pistons...before you jump the conclusion sheeesh....still capable of doing it yourself if you know what your doing dont need a machine shop

It is never good when you put a big hole in your block because you did something that saved you 50 bucks. DOING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME PRICELESS
