2000 v6 to LS1 Conversion, Help???

For those who have tried it or those who are intrested read on...

I would like to know how to change my 2000 v6 Camaro (3800 Series II) to the SS LS1 V8 engine. I would like to know which parts are needed and if possible instructions on how to do it. Or links to pages that show how to. This is my first car and i would like to start getting to know my car by doing heavy mechanics to it so that me and my baby can bond. Any help would be appreciated.

well it will take alot....try to find a donar car..... so you can strip the harness motor trans and etc from the car... i dont know any sites try doing a google search... but some people will say your better off selling yours and getting and ss

check out www.hpsalvage.com i dont remember exactly what the section is called but i know they have a partial list of what is needed to do the swap. it includes all the major stuff but not the little things like radiator and heater core stuff...

I agree that you should just sell yours and buy an LS1... i don't see a reason not to?

thats a pretty good way of doing it, the cheapest nd simplest at least...
