lost power

Hi, My 1993 mazda protege just lost power and now it wont start at all. I was driving down the road and it acted like it was goin to just cut off. I made it to a church parking lot and i turned it off. It cranked again, went a little further. Then i turned it off again . It has has slow leek in the radiator and i have to watch the tempeture gage. This day it was towards Hot. But was not very low when i checked the fluid . I did add some. I let it sit for a few hours, added more fluid and still it wont start. It has no juice watsoever. A friend told me it could be a fuse because it was trying losing power before i made it to the church. I'm prayin it s not the alternator, not much money to work with. Any ideas?

hmm.....maybe you should post this message in the mazda protege section....not the Nissan Maxima one...
