97 Maxima vs. 2003 Accord V6

I just got a stage 2 valvue body mod, y-pipe, high flow cat, and injen CAI. I was coming off the exit on I-80. and the light was red. There was a white honda accord V6 sedan in the left lane stopped at the light. I started to slow down because the lgith was red....but then the light turned green while I was about down to 10 mph so I floored it and obviously burned him. I guess he took it personal and sped past me going about 70 mph....and I was cruising at 50mph. So we came to the next light and it was red. He was already there att a complete stop. So I pulled up in the right lane and looked at him. He pointed forward. So when the light turned green he actually got like a "little" head start on me. So we were both flooring it and we were neck and neck....THEN my gear changed from 1st to 2nd....and with the VB mod....THE WHEELS CHIRPERD and he was in my rear view mirror....and he was trying to catch up and he couldn't I stopped accelerating around 70 mph. and he was about a car length behind me....!!! I was like DAM!! Didnt know that all those mods would be able to do that to an accord V6. The 2003 accords V6 have 240 hp..dont they do 1/4 mile in about 14.7 sec??? and I got up on him!! I'd recommend getting these mods.....I want to get a GTP now.

i'd attribute most of that to the y pipe. those things give 4th gens a whole new attitude. good job though.

Why get a GTP? It has an SC stock, I understand that but if you were to SC your Max the GTP would be looking at your a$$ end everyday of the week.

GTP is a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. The GTP model is SUPERCHARGED (SC) and runs 14.8s stock. I ran into one the other day it was the sedan version. Well it was supposedly a GTP, the guy in the passenger seat made some comment that he bought the badges. I think he did, cuz I instantly put one and half cars on him from a 10MPH roll and I'm an auto!!

They were very cocky guys though. They told me whenever I was ready. So basically what they were saying is I should punch it without even letting them know and they would play catch up, since the GTP is soo fast. But I decided to be nice and countdown for them, so they would have an easier time seeing my taillights. I shut down with 4 cars on them.

He already explained what a GTP is, so I'll explain what an SC is:

SC is the acronym used to describe a SuperCharger, I'm guessing you already know what an SC is or at least what it does, if not go to www.howthingswork.com (http://www.howthingswork.com) and look up Supercharger, it'll tell you what it is and what it does.

he's an auto too though. gtp's only come auto and weigh a whopping 3500 lbs. i'm not surprised you pulled on him so easily.

i want to spank a gtp as well, i never see them at the dragway. i see them a pretty good bit on the roads and in town, but no confrontations.

if they stock, they will be in shock !
