Amplifier/Audio problem

What's up guys!

I have this problem with a new amplifier I installed. The problem lies when I try to play music with the cd player. It won't work! I mean the speakers work fine and so does the amp with the regular radio, but when I switch to CD the amp turns off and doesn't work!

Does anyone know what can cause such a problem to accur? I need all the answers I can get......

yep, it's a common problem ......... what you did is hook the auto turn-on on the amp to the auto antenna lead on the CD player instead of the amp turn on lead. The antenna turn on lead only has power when the radio is on, and turns off with the radio.
