My friend just received his oem carbon fiber hood for his RX8, It fit perfect, it has rolled edges and it has a thick clear coat.
He called this place and they gave it to him for 450.00
Check it out, he said he recieved it in 1 week after he ordered.

What is the advantage of carbon fiber hood?
It can't be the weight as the original is so light to begin with.
