Hey guys I went to the hobby store today to pick up some paint. I got chrome and black paints from Testors and I got white from Tamiya. On the Tamiya can it says FOR ADULT MODDELERS ONLY does this mean it is to complex for my 10th grade mind to use or does this mean you just have to be smart enough to use a spray can. Couple more questions what is better quality Testors or Tamiya. Is Tamiya more toxic than Testors. And one last question for my project IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN FIND TO USE AROUND THE HOUSE STRONG ENOUGH TO CUT THE ROOF OFF MY DEL SOL (modifiers) FOR THIS PROJECT???

the reason they say for adult modelers only is because they dont want it being misused to get high
heat it up over the stove- becareful not to over heat it, it will melt. just heat it enough so it can be cut with scissors- that should work, never tried it so you might want to wait till others put in ideas

Spray paint out side. Learn from me. Don't spray Tamiya's paint in a shed. You might fell a little happy after wards.

If you dont have a paint booth dont paint in your basement. I have a paint booth and I still smell fumes (after I take off my mask).
Tamiya is 100% better than Testors, testors is another word for shit.

paint outside, the paint drys fast and the fumes don't choke you.

Which color white did you buy?
Tamiya makes 3 different whites, racing white, pure white and pearl white.

Then pure white was the color he wanted, racing white is the off white color from Tamiya.
My next question would be whether he used a white primer under the paint.
