Question for the Tech Heads!!!

ok... for those of you who don't recall what problem my car has been having...
swapped to D15B VTEC, using P28 ECU and Distributor... car was running, but now the fuel pump and injectors no longer turn on.
Main relay was replaced three times... all the main relays ended up testing to be in perfect working order... the ECU tested out fine when I tried it out on someone elses 93 EX... I have since taken the car to a friend of mine who owns/runs a professional mechanics shop who has told me he would work on it and try to get it running for me... but he has so far been unsuccessful.
He took it to another shop near his who had some very extensive computer testing equipment... hooked every sensor and wire in the car up to this testing equipment, and he told me their equipment was pointing the problem as being in the distributor.
Now my question is... if part of the distributor has gone bad, could that prevent the fuel pump and injectors from turning on? Because I've tried replacing everything else, including the wiring harness and trying two different ECU's.... could the distributor be the cause of everything?

Yes because in the distributor is were your timing is for the injectors. The crank angle sensor is what tells it when to fire. It tells the Ecu when to fire the #1, #2,.... injector. As far as the fuel pump goes not to sure if the distributor is what turns that on or not.

I seem to remember testing out with an Si ECU and distributor, and the injectors and fuel pump weren't turning on... then I realized I'd never plugged it in... when I did, power came on to the injectors and fuel pump.
I guess I'll go ahead and get to looking for another Z6 distributor.... what's another hundred or so dollars out of the about $4,000 I've already spent on restoring the car, right?

the main relay directly controls the fuel pump. If the fuel pump isnt turning on, then your problem lies in the main relay, the ECU, fuel pump fuse, or the fuel pump itself. There is nothing else it could possibly be.
The distributor has nothing to do with the fuel pump turning on/off, it simply tells the ECU when the #1 piston is at TDC so it knows when to fire the injectors.

I suppose my problem still lies with the ECU then... because when I remove the OBD0-OBD1 conversion harness and plug an OBD0 Si ECU in to the dash harness, the injectors and fuel pump comes on.
So would you suggest hunting for another P28 ECU and trying that?

either another p28 or another Conversion Harness

I'm on my second conversion harness from two different builders... same problem...

Thanks to eBay I just bought a P08 ECU... the ECU that original was meant for the engine in the first place... almost identicle to the P28.
We'll see if that works.

I have a 1993 Honda Civic with a JDM D15B engine swap, but having problems getting it started. I have a constant 12 volts at the injector when ignition is on. The car will start using starter fluid or injecting gasoline into the throttle body, but then it shuts down. How can we determine why the injectors do not fire? what should the resistence of the fuel injectors be? what tell the fuel injectors when to fire?
