A/c Enhancement

I've got a 90 buick lesabre that i retrofitted to R134a. The vent temps are around 50 degrees. while i was in the auto parts store the other day, i found this additive that claims to lower the vent temps by 5 to 10 degrees. Im interested in trying it as i would like the A/C to blow colder than 50 degrees. What are your opinions of this additive and do you think it will work? If not what are my other options? Thanks!!!

Every additive claims to reduce temps. Name the product, I did a ton of research on this and found only 2 products that really work w/o destroying the system. I'll see if I can post a link.
Did you flush all your lines out and replace the dryer?

it's made by interdynamics, it just says "A/C enhancement additive" on the front.

The only a/c additive that I heard really worked (from another forum) is the Buddy Club additive for R134a gas (reduces drag and more cooling), but then it only lasts about 1 or 2 yrs.

the other one is Quickboost (it's not spelled that way)
The one from interdynamics says it has something called coolmax that coats the metal piping. This stuff tends to accumulate in the compressor and has caused many blown seals and lockups.
My $.02

Sidetracking a bit here- heard of this additive called the Seal-Sealing Refrigerant from Cryo Chem which seals any leaks on the evaporator, so that u don't need to replace leaky evaporators.

i found a variable orifice tube that claims to lower temps anywhere from 5 to 13 degrees. Does anyone know where the orfice tube is located on a 1990 buick lesabre? If so, how difficult is it to replace?
