CEL is on in 4th gen prelude

Hi guys, got a problem. I installed a JDM h22a, ecu, tranny in 93 prelude, used existing old harness and added extra wires to run VTEC, etc. Now my CEL is coming on. So i aquired a 93 prelude service manual from Honda and diagnostic code 23 to be the knock sensor as per manual.
Checked all the wiring and re-wired knock sensor to D3 on ecu and replaced knock sensor(from Honda) also but damn CEL is still coming on??
I did the diagnostic tests in the manual. The old wire for the knock sensor had a shielded cover over it, and now it doesn't(replaced wire from connector to ecu). I also reseted the ecu by pulling the radio fuse and guess what the CEL keeps coming on like a lame rash.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanx
