will a b16a2 work on a 90 civic si

i might be able to get a wrecked 2000 si for cheap, the engine is still intact, i know ill prolly have to get a b16a1 cable tranny, but i was just wondering how much extra work will i need to do to make it fit and run. thx, this is urgent the car could be sold any second. any help would be appreciated

You will also need:
Axles,
Shift linkage,
Custom Hasport or placeracing mounts.
Wiring harness adaptor or modifcation.
The Si ECU, or B16a ECU.
Clutch.
Bigger brakes.
New Suspension.
min 14inch Wheels and tyres.
Bonnet with raised center section.
etc etc


Its not a swap to be taken lightly, and not one to be rushed into. :)

Moppie - from what I've seen on the 4G site you don't need the SiR bonnet as the aftermarket mounts put the engine a bit lower down in the engine bay than our SiR's are.

A lot of people have done the swap there into a 4G, not to mention ppl in the 4G forums here at AF.

I've done the swap, easy as balls.......

my site is in my sig, its got an entire swap guide on it, etc......

Unfortunately I've used my bandwidth up already, so its down until 2/1....... :(
