Integra stalls when coming to a stop

I have searched all over the internet trying to get an idea of what is wrong with my car and everyone has a different answer. It's almost as bad as asking the IRS a question! But I have high hopes for this Integra-only board.
My problem is that my 88 Integra has been going through spells where it will keep stalling when I come to a stop. It doesn't happen all the time, and I can always start it again right away when it does. It seems to be more likely to happen after I have been driving for a little while. A trip around the block isn't a problem.
With my limited knowledge and limited availablity of tools, is there anything I can do on my own to try to fix this?

Try adjusting your throttle cable it may be too slack and may cause you to idle to low which in turn may cause your car to stall out....I dont know if thats your problem but thats all I can think about right now...
