02 radio replacement issues

My brother just bought a 02 and was gonna get sat radio installed and the shops have told him that there is no way to remove the factory radio because it is tied into the computer and that a replacement would not work. Is there a way around this?

Go to INSTALLER.COM. They have a wiring harness for your new radio.
