1/4 Mile Times?????

What are the 1/4 Mile times for a STOCK LS1 Camaro??

anywhere from 12.8 - 13.5 i would say, for an SS anyway. some of the cars came out as freaks of nature, that were just "right" and would run like a top, but id say average times for the SS would be around a 13.2 somwhere therin.

what are you two talking about for one thing the average time on a stock SS isnt 13.2 and ive never heard of a stock ss running under 13 thats insane and another thing is that the Z28 and the SS arnt almost the same the SS are faster i know from experience.

The SS and the Z28 both have the GM LS! engine that makes 350HP at the fly. difference btween SS and Z28, SS has cold-air and better exhaust. what is that good for, a tenth?

Tell us then matt how much hp does the LS1 have and what would it run in the 1/4 mile??

ANy way times will vary becasue of altitude and air diferences. Here where i am we are lucky to break under a 14. This last weekend my friends ran at the track and the best time was a 14.330.

Another one of my friends went down to houston and ran a full 4 tenths faster than he did up here. went from a 14.1 to a 13.7

go to camaroz28.com adn then go to track times and u will fins all ur answers there . and yes there have been some ls1 that dip in to the 12 stock. but 13.2 to 13.8 would be you raverage driver

I have seen plenty of LS1's with only ET Streets and good drivers hit the 12's!
This is a guy that thinks his car is so much faster than a Z because it is an SS.
No, the LS1 in the F body is not rated at 350hp, in the vette it is near that, but the Vette and F body dyno NEARLY the same numbers. It is said that GM does not want to put the F body HP figures with the Flagship sportscar corvette numbers (look throughout history the vette ALWAYS has a higher HP rating with identical engines to other GM cars).
