cv shaft

i need to replace the cv joints in my metro i have talked to people that have done it in hondas and they suggest a whole new shaft also i was wandering if i should really do this of just the joints

get a re-manned shaft. It's cheaper than buying just 1 joint w/ball bearings and cage.
