now can someone help?

ok, i've got some new info for my 96' 2.4 that i'm having SO many problems with. the ignition cuts of spontaneously while i'm driving, sitting, ex. i've changed all ignition components. the latest i've found is that when it's idling, i can very gently ease into the gas and it will rev up to the limit, but if i hit the gas harder, it will completely kill the ignition (spark going to the plugs). any ideas?

possible wire rubthrough somewhere on the chassis, as you gun it the engine rocks in its mounts, the movement may be rubbign a wire on a rough spot, and grounding it out, killing spark.

also, this may or may not be related, but there is a campaign on the cavalier ignition systems, it involves installing a relay wired between the starter and ignition, not sure, but may be related to your problem, hit up your local chevy dealership for the details.

i thought it could be a bad wire too, but when ever i shake all the wires/connections the car stays running. any idea where to look?
