i have a '97 A4 1.8T,
my passenger seat only heats on one small spot, anyone know why or how i can fix this?
also, over rough surfaces (if my front right tire is bouncing) i hear a pretty loud clunking from the wheel well. everything supsension-wise is fine, i had it checked. could it be something subframe?

The heated seat problem is common in the A4, i suggest just go to your local dealer and see what they say. Get the price and then go somewhere alot cheaper with what you need done. I did this with my 2000 A4.

If you haven't already fixed it. Here is some info:
I replaced my driver side several years back. I think the parts were $130 from Clair. You peel n stick it over the old coils after removing the seat skins. Took me about an hour.
