decals?

ok well my friend just got a mitsu Evo 8. very very nice car. and he was lookin into some decals for it. he said in the fast and the furious 1 on the green eclipse there is a decal on the hood thats the letters MI in a circle. does anyone know the company or where we could get taht decal for my friends car? thanks

getting decals are old fashion... nowadays the car should clean then only its considered hot... tell ur friend not to do that mistake... if not tell him to give the car to me :D this is how our cars should look no body kit... no fancy spoiler.. no stickers.. still it looks hot... tell ur friend to look and judge for himself :)

that is not my car :D but my car is also black 1997 eclipse gs... but my front bumper is messed up.. so after i get my bumper i am going to repaint it to same black... and i already have 18" koing (sp???) with low profile tires which are also gun metal with a silver lip :D

I wouldnt ruin a nice car like that with decals. When you think about it, its just not worth it.

to answer your question, it's a modern image signworks graphis from, who else, but modern image. they make graphics for movie cars and race cars and cars they sponsor. If your friend wants the sticker, tell him to think it over for a bit and then see how he feels. especially when he finds out it's gonna cost 100 dollars for the pretty little sticker. as you can see, most people aren't fans of stickers. They only work for some cars (drift cars mainly). keep it clean. keep it smooth, make it fast.

just think about it, if you (your friend) get it, you're gonna be getting a lot of pressure from people while you drive. and you better be damn sure that you can back that sticker up. because what's said outside, means inside. i wouldn't go there untill you have a few more ponies under that hood or you'll be looking at laughters. as for your real question, i have no idea where to get them from.

or maybe he wants to stay "clean" and just go after the show and leave the go..




Well I dunno, you didnt really tell us much about your "friend" so I dont know what are his likes and dislikes, but I will tell you this, If I had an evo, fuck no, I wouldnt be putting stickers on it! because that car is just hot without 'em.

and no his parents didnt buy it for him. something happend within the family and he has his own large some of money. he was originally gonna get a roush mustang but taht was sold. so he went with the evo.
and ricerocket... no its not mine ... yea i think he didnt change his mind on teh sticker. sry i hadnt cehckd back here in awhile. and yea he is working on more horses. hes getting a turbo timer with boost control and then hes gettin i think he wants the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust system, he might get a turbo back cause we talked to a guy at a ricer store and said the turbo back can get him about 30 more hp. thanks for all your input guys.

Who cares if they didn't buy the car themselves. If someone offered to buy you a new evo, you would gladly take it (unless you were a dumbshit and said, "it isn't respectable to accept this offer!" :rolleyes: ). My parents bought me my first eclipse, even though I've been working since I turned fifteen, so what? It was their decision to buy it for me, and I'm not going to turn it down. Let's drop this and get back to the original intent of this thread!

Decals = no no :nono: IMO. Unless of course you get a few sponsors and they force you to put them on your car for a photoshoot, but I don't think that's the case here :)
